Habe mir grade auf verdacht diesen Receiver in der Bucht geangelt. Ich wollt nur mal wissen was Ihr über das Gerät wisst, ich habe da nicht wirklich was bei google gefunden.

Die Bezeichnung war wohl in den siebziger Jahre üblich, ich habe selber auch einen NAD Model 60

Der Besagte Receiver wird dort im Text erwähnt Genaueres weiß ich erst wen er bei mir auf dem Schreibtisch steht... aber ich frage schon mal damit ich schon ein paar Hintergrundinformation in der Hand habe.

SPECIAL FEATURES
An innovative bridging circuit links each pair of quad amplifiers. This quad-to-stereo conversion provides more than double the power per stereo section. The new configuration equally distributes the load into four output transistors connected in a bridge mode. Reliability is increased and linearity and square wave characteristics are improved. A slide switch, located an the rear panel, makes, simply, the selection of quad or stereo operation.
Two separate power supplies permit power amplifiers to generate full
3 output with all four channels driven simultaneously even under musical stress conditions. The power supplies are separated into two sections: left front and back and right front and back. Each side of the receiver, therefore, is fed by its own supply voltage. This enables the receiver to maintain absolute left-to-right Separation regardless of mode of operation, or type of program material played.
All circuitry follows the Citation tradition of design with close tolerance components and conservatively rated specifications.
Ultra-wideband power amplifier and preamplifier stages yield unprecedented phase linearity from 1 Hertz to beyond 75 kHz.
Newly designed FM muting circuit removes all traces of interstation noise when tuning across the FM dial without introducing thumps or other extraneous sounds.
Illuminated pushbutton on/off switch permits user to turn receiver an and off without upsetting careful positioning of controls.
Large illuminated meter permits user to tune to exact center of FM station for lowest noise and distortion. Meter indicates maximum signal strength in AM.
Heavy counterweighted flywheel provides smooth tuning action.
Front panel stereo or quad headphone receptacles.
Bass and treble controls for front and back tone adjustment permit
exceptional flexibility, especially in the stereo mode with remote
speakers in another room. Each set of speakers now has its own tone
control setting.
Heavy duty, extremely fast silicon output devices capable of handling twice the available power of the receiver.
Controlled impedance regulation of the power supplies permits instantaneous power demands. Woofers move in a long, fast throw without robbing power from the mid-range and high frequency drivers.
Dual supply voltages (negative and positive) and DC coupling throughout enables power amplifier to extend virtually to DC with extremely low phase shift.

Square wave tilt at 20 Hertz is less than 3%.
Exceptionally fast high frequency rise time achieved through use of Citation audio circuitry. Better than 2 microseconds rise time at 20kHz.
Remote and main speaker selector switching in stereo or quad. Provides flexibility for connecting speakers in stereo, or quad in various parts of the home in numerous permutations.
External Dolby noise reduction/tape monitor switch permits user to connect external Dolby NR to system for use with Dolby FM broadcasts, Switch also serves as stereo tape monitor if Dolby NR not employed.
Quadriphonic tape monitor switch provides monitoring for either a quad or stereo recorder.
Contour switch restores low frequencies normally lost at low volume levels.
High and Low out Filters remove annoying hiss and rumble.
Illuminated indicator numerals provide positive identification of the mode of operation. Numeral 1 for mono, 2 for stereo, 4-2-4 for SO matrix quad, 4-2-4 for SO matrix blend, 2-4 for stereo synthesis and and 4-4 for discrete quad.
360° joystick sound field balance control enables user to set stereo or quad sound source anywhere within the listening area. Unquestionably the most versatile control ever designed for a home music system.
Synthesizes all stereo program material (FM, tapes, phono) to pseudoquad through use of Harman/Kardon designed phase-shifting network. Network designed to give spacious, totally transparent sound closely approximating the depth and dimension of the concert hall.
Harman/Kardon ultra-wideband SO matrix delivers superb four channel sound from SO program sources. Model 754- employs two SO positions for maximum flexibility. First position retains exact balance and perspective of the concert hall while second position introduces slight amount of blend in the front channels. lass Dich von der Leistungsangabe mal nicht abschrecken! Ich (d.h. meine Frau9 habe einen Kenwood Verstärker, der auch nur 2x22W an 8 Ohm abgibt...dem eigentlichen Klang tut das kein Abruch....

Die damaligen Geräte waren schon "etwas besseres"...

Also über die Leistung habe ich mir noch nie sorgen gemacht :-/

Ich selber habe ja auch nen "kleinen" Kenwood als Verstärker im Einsatz, der dürfte so real bei 40 W pro Kanal liegen und das ist vollkommen ausreichend:
   

ps. Der 50+ Plus ist heute "angekommen", leider war ich nicht da, muss Ihn also Morgen von der Post abholen

Leider sehr "verbraucht" ich muss ihn mal richtig sauber machen.

Habe das Gerät jetzt mal ausgiebig einen Lausch-Test unterzogen
Der klang ist vollkommen akzeptabel. Der Radioempfang ist auch gut. Die Regler kratzen nicht Das Gerät gefällt mir immer mehr.
