Traditioneller Jazz und andere Spielarten des Jazz

Hallo,

ich bin auf der Suche nach Anregungen aus dem Jazz-Bereich.

Ich bin nicht gerade ein Kenner der Szenen, aber ambitioniert, mich auf diesem Gebiet weiterzuentwickeln.

Zur Zeit sieht es so aus, dass ich mich mit Wynton Marsalis, Clark Terry, Louis Amrstrong, Ella Fitzgerald und Ray Brown auseinander setze bzw. höre. Das reicht mir aber beileibe nicht aus, ich denke das es noch viel mehr auf diesem Gebiet zu entdecken gibt.

Eine Jazz-Richtung die mir garnicht zusagt ist, Free-Jazz, zuviel Improvisation und nicht für mich erfunden worden.

Beim Hören der Obengenannten, ging mir das Herz auf, auch auf Grund der oftmals audiophlien Aufnahmen die es in diesem Genre gibt.

Ich bin für jeden Tipp dankbar!
